Browser-based tools
Most tools on WeVivid run entirely in your browser. Files and text you enter into these tools are processed on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. A tool page only carries the “Runs in your browser” badge when this is true.
Server-based tools
Some tools may require server-side processing (for example, OCR or currency conversion). Where that applies, the tool page states this clearly, deletes any uploaded file automatically after processing, and states how long it is retained before deletion.
Local storage
We may use your browser’s local storage for small conveniences, such as remembering recently used tools. This stays on your device and fails silently if unavailable.
Analytics
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand page views and which tools people use — this collects standard, anonymised usage data such as pages visited, device type and approximate location, the same way most websites do. We never collect, see or store the contents of files or text you process with our tools, since that processing happens on your device.
Advertising
We plan to show ads (for example, via Google AdSense) below tools, never inside or above them. Ad providers may use cookies to serve relevant ads; you can control this through your browser or ad-provider settings.
